What's the earliest that interview invites are requested?

Just curious, what are the earliest times that people know that they have an interview invitation to a dental school?

I've heard that application reviews start as early as August, but how long (earliest) until an interview is extended?

Does anyone know when reviews and interviews start for Minnesota?

Not particularly sure about Minnesota, but interviews generally start in October... some schools may even start in September - it varies from school to school. Just call the school and they would be happy to tell you.

Some schools start in August. Last year, if I remember correctly, a few exclusive state schools had interviews start at the very end of July. My first interview last year was Sept. 1st at Midwestern. Minnesota gets theirs going in Sept. Mine was Sept. 18 last year at Minnesota.

I'm sorry, I just saw your question about invite to interview. I got my first invite to interview at the end of July last year. July 27th to be exact was my first interview invite.

This is crazy!

So I could find out if I'm potentially in the running for acceptance, or potentially rejected by late July. 😱 :scared:

UF starts pretty early too (end of July).

That should be good news! You will find out from some schools possibly end of July or beginning of August. Sooner the better I think!

Just to ease some of your consciouses. By having already submitted your application, you are at a big time advantage. Especially if you have competitive scores. I had not even taken my DAT at this time last year.
