what's the minimum # of shadow hours required?

I will be applying to NSU this summer. I've been shadowing, but I don't know how many hours I should put into this. The admissions counselor at NSU told me to shadow as many doctors as possible, as many hours as possible. There is no info about shadowing that I can find in the material they sent me or online. About how many hours are needed?

its good if u get to work with more optometrists, i also think that shadowing an optometrist at a commercial place(walmart etc.) isnt such a bad idea at all..just cuz it gives u more to talk about in your interview...also it shows u both aspects of the same profession...
this is the advise that my optometrist gave me...which DID help...
as for me, i volunteered for a year...but then again i knw some ppl who have been doing it for 3 yrs...so its all upto you and how much time u have on ur hands...good luck 🙂
