Whats up with NYU??

So has anyone heard anything from NYU?? I called to ask if my app was complete around the 3 rd week of July...since then no news from them. Has anyone heard anything? When do they start giving out interviews...?? Any opinions would be helpful..

Cheque cashed (Monday afternoon), DAT scores (AADSAS received 7/28, sent 8/6 -very recent-).......


edit: well, I did call them Monday morning, the day before I got my app complete e-mail, asking about LORs and asked them to look into whether they received my cheque. So that might have bumped my app up 😕

but tbh I don't think it really matters if you get it complete now or next month since NYU interviews till the end of spring o_o

CANgnome, I had the same DAT scores received date and updated mailing date. I don't know if you can answer my question but it's worth a shot. My LOE came in a day after my DAT scores were received (7/29) and my mailing date was updated to 8/6. This was updated in the LOE tab on AADSAS but when I called AADSAS about another question, she informed me that this new mailing date was for my DAT scores and not for my LOE. Do you know which it is for?

I got an app complete email from NYU yesterday and it also said interviews begin mid-september and continue into the spring, so I'm guessing they'll start sending out invites by next week.

But there is an evaluations tab that you can check the mailing date of LOE if by chance you did not check that o_o

My App was complete July 16th, just thought they were taking forever. Temple is lagging behind to. Just heard from them 2 days ago..Finally..

Second mailing date (with DAT scores): 8/6

Cheque cashed: August 9th.

App Complete: August 10th.

It was mailed out less than a week ago. It is strange that I got my app complete while some other people who have submitted everything earlier than me did not.

interesting. I doubt it will make a difference, they havent even interviewed or invited anyone yet. So, in my opinion, its early and you are not late.

NAY! that aint true...its still early n they hav incoming class stuff goin on as well as tons of application shipments from AADSAS every wk! ull get ur email as well very soon...

So I called NYU today, I was just so tired of waiting..whoever answered was really nice. She said that my app was complete and they still haven't started reviewing yet. The first round of invites are slated to go out for mid september which means they will probably start sending out invites the last week of August...this month is CRUCIAL...am so nervous..YIKES!!

i got an email about a complet app.....but it was a generic email with info for their website.....good info.....no interviews are offered yet....wait for september....same with temple
