I just go by "Partner/Owner" when I sign all the paperwork, but I notice on Instagram more of a shift to titles like "CEO," "CMO," "Founder," "Director," "Chairman," etc. Which title do you think is best?
Depends on the paperwork.
In my opinon:
For medical paperwork, "Ferrismonk, DO" is all I put.
For business paperwork, Partner/Owner is fine.
If you have a board or a lot of employees and you make executive decisions, CEO makes sense.
If you're a fundamentally diverse company with multiple product lines of which you handle the medical stuff, CMO makes sense.
Director is used for someone in charge of one part of the company, such as a single location, not the whole company.
Chairman is used if you are the chairman of the board.
Founder is just used to satisfy your pride, no one else cares.
On social media (but instagram, seriously?), it's all about trying to seem impressive. If you are trying to impress patients, add whatever titles you want. If you are looking for a new job, CEO/CMO/Director sounds better to recruiters.
