When I applied to 17 schools I ranked them all by a list based on lots of reading here along with lots of discussion among the DO's I've shadowed. In addition to which schools fit ME best. I had spent a lot of time and effort looking into each school I applied to. That being said, I had an unranked top 3 that were all long shots (or so I thought). Post-Interview KCOM was my top choice and by gods grace they liked me too. :soexcited:

I do need to go make a genetics study guide at some point. Anyways, we need to soak it all up now. Come next year I'll probably be a once-a-weeker if that.
 
whichever accepts me and is closest (with some thought on cost)...without knowing that i picked VCOM
 
I think i'm pretty much decided on DMU over Western. So, if I do end up goin to a DO school......Iowa here i come!

I am a senior and accepted. My senioritis started the first day of classes and reached a critical level after my first acceptance. I'm staying on top of my work for the most part. I have half of a take home exam due Friday done and will get another exam to take home tomorrow. All my lab reports are done for right now. I have 2 papers due the 25 of November, 1 the 5 of December, and another due during finals week. Haven't started any of them yet and they total probably 30 pages worth. I also have no more actual exams, I believe, as of yet until the 11 of Nov.

Also, when I'm on SDN I'm on for a while and check each forum several times. So I see new posts fairly often 😉. Plus, the game is boring right now so I came upstairs.
 
haha i agree with Bacchus on the senioritis. I'm takin Zoology (last general bio pre req) and I'm in it with all the scared to death pre med freshman who are taking it as their first science course.....I'm just like, whatever dude, I dont even care what I get in this class cuz it dooesnt matter........mwa ha ha.

I have a zoology test on Wed and a paper due Wed as well which I havent started yet.......normally, I'd be kinda freaked out.....but now its just "meh." I'm livin the life while I still can!
 
Western is my top choice...Pretty sure it's well documented on this forum.😀 Due to location (SoCal), local clinical networking, technology (primarily the online lectures), and some of the intangibles.
 
Bah you lucky senioritis-experiencers. With no acceptances and a key part of my application being upward GPA trend, I gotta make sure that I rock this shizt. 19 credits this semester, 22 next semester :cry:.


Oh well.
 
I definitely have senioritis. I have a senior project due at the beginning of december and have only read 4 articles for it, lol. I also am putting in the least amount of effort possible to get a BorC in immunology, the only other class I am taking this semester. It all started after my first acceptance....
 
what is it called when you are graduated and don't feel like doing anything? because I am that....lazy? a bum? 😉
 
Aw, no TCOM on there. Well, I guess if any, I would pick that. Does my vote count? 😀

the uncontrollabe inflammation of a college graduate?

Causes:
1) realization that there will be no more 3 month summer vacations
2) realization that tehre will be no more 5 week winter vacations
3) realization that there are no more Wed night "its half way to the weekend" party sesesions
4) realization that it is now time enter the real world

any other causes?

Sorry about that...I know I will be missing something. I can't find a way to add more options for the poll.

To my surprise, LECOM-FL has more votes than LECOM-PA, and the fact that there are quite a bit of ppl vote for Rocky Vista, which I believe it's a very new school. I wonder why they are favored.

If PCOM does not remain at the top of this list the pre osteo community will self destruct.

Since I am such a friendly guy with no self interests...I say if I get waitlisted at Western then DMU is a better choice for you and if I get accepted to Western then Western is a better choice for you.😀:laugh:

Also, I am experiencing workatitis?! Being away on and off all month = i don't really have any projects going on right now. lots of staring at the screen for the time being. get me out of herrrrrrr!
 
This one's kind of hard with a few interviews pending...

Pre-interviews, I would say PCOM... but I also haven't scored that interview yet 🙄
