What's Your Record

My record for fattest labor epidural: 500lbs. For months the weight in the chart was constant at 400. The regular scale only goes to 400, so the nurses kept writing down 400. They eventually weighed her on the freight scale where the hospital gets deliveries.

I asked her how this physically went down and she readily admitted to involvement of a 3rd party for pannus retraction.

What about youngest labor epidural? Mine's 14 but I'm sure people have younger.

I've had 2 600+ pounders for epidurals. They both got a-lines and central lines, too... My youngest was 15. I've had several, though, who were young (15-16) AND really fat (300+). There should be some kind of credit for that...

Oldest primagravid c-section spinal: 45-years-old. The woman was thin, in great shape, and extremely attractive too, and had a much younger husband (like 36-to-38-ish).

Youngest epidural: 14-year-old.
