When can I start on my application if I'm going to be taking the DAT in June of 2015? Also, am I able to apply for a DENTPIN right now?

But you can have the essays and personal statement completed right now. Once it opens in June, it becomes as easy as copy and pasting the text and submitting the application that day.

Request the letters right now. Professors can be lazy, forgetful, or they are just busy being a university instructor; chances are the sooner you request the letter, the sooner it will become available.

Yes, usually professors require that you completed the DAT in case you really mess up on it and then that means they wrote the letter of rec for no reason.

Ah gotcha. I come from an NAIA school; we have around 3000 on campus students. The policy is changing at my university to have it requested by the end of winter term and the professor and pre-health coordinator hold on to it until you submit your application.

If that's the case then do that, the earlier the better. So if they're willing to do that then I encourage it
