when can you start your online applicant profile?

at what point can one open an online profile with the centralized application service to DO schools and start sending transcripts, etc.?
I am > 1 year away from applying but it would be nice to know that they have all my transcripts, etc so when the file is complete after I finish my last prereq class I can submit early to improve my chances for an early interview/acceptance. thanks

I believe it runs from application cycle to application cycle, as each cycle ends, those files are closed, and you have to restart/resubmit your application.

So, you can't really "pre-file" and then activate it when your year comes up.

Would be nice though.

you will not be able to access next year's application until around may 1, 2004. They kept pushing it back this year. It might have gotten close to June before it was available this year. But, it will be a nice distraction from waiting the two months it takes to get april MCAT scores. If you want to be proactive, start writing your personal statement now. I filled out the forms no problem but then wasted a month working on the ps. good luck, send it in as soon as possible. I didn't, and wish I had. Really, anything before the end of October is not into the late zone. But those June submissions are the way to go.👍

It's great that you want to get ahead on this process. That is a wise thing. Just make sure you are ready early next year and then the first day they open you get get going.
