Just wondering when the last time UoP sent out interviews. I have heard of any for a couple of weeks. So could you post your date they contacted you so we can see when they did their last send outs.
When did you get your Interview invite from UoP?

Btw, based on Predents, with 5% of the UoP applicant pool already receiving interviews, up to half of the total interview spots may have been given out (~250 total will be interviewed).

someone said that only legacies, and re-applicants have received an interview so far.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm getting worried. All of my 'stuff' is submitted and I haven't heard from anyone. Most schools haven't even acknowledged they have received my application. And AADSAS updates as often as...damn there is no comparison to how slow they are. I feel depressed every time I see someone on the boards saying they got an interview. Anyone else feel the same? At least I haven't received any rejection letters which I guess is a good sign. Watch now, tomorrow I check the mail and BAM...rejection lol.

Same here. I submitted ADSAAS early June, and finished DAT Aug 4, so I guess I shouldn't expect too much at this point, but it's really hard when it seems like so many people are getting interviews.

I got called on... either july 30th or 31st for an oct 9.13.23 (i got to choose) interview at pacific. I am neither a legacy nor a re-applicant, so there goes that theory. I did submit very early (May 30th) so they've had my stuff for a while.

predents tells date of interview, not date they were informed of the interview.

most people would post on predents right when they receive their interview invite or soon after. or if they would post to this thread they would have updated their predents already most likely. or maybe I'm wrong...

got a call yeah same as above some time before august so probably the 30th or 31st. scheduled for the 13th of october.

yeah haha i'm staying at a place called HOME!! the one school i'm interviewing at where i'm not worried about logistics =)
hey guys quick question: me and my buddies are all headed to vegas that weekend (friday oct 10 through sunday the 12th), and my interview is on monday the 13th -- kinda worried. maybe just party hard friday night, saturday night watch what i do, sunday fly out of vegas and pull into sfo and get a lot of sleep? no amount of fun is worth compromising my uop interview...

They called first, then the email came like a day or two later. I had to call them back and choose a date and then they sent the email with the official invitation with the date filled in.

I dunno, I love Vegas as much as the next guy, but I don't know that I would chance walking into a Monday interview with my eyes glazed over!
On paper it makes sense to take it easy Saturday and Sunday, but when you are actually in the moment, it may not be so easy to off the party. If you can do it, kudos to you. I am a strong man, but I know that if I went to Vegas that weekend, I would still be recovering come Monday morning.

I received a call a little before lunchtime, and a few days later got an email with a whole bunch of attachments. Don't worry man, we're still so early in the application process. I submitted my completed app as quick as I could, but otherwise I don't see why they don't give other people more invites. Stay strong it's still August!

How long after the UOP dental school admissions office received your application, did it take for them to give you their decision?
I checked online, and it says my application is in review. It says it takes 4-8 weeks.
I'm hoping to hear from them soon. I hope not all the October interview slots are closed. 🙁

I was waitlisted Last year at UOP, because I applied Late, I decided to wait for UOP and turn down acceptances, cause UOP is been my first choice foreverand they say I have a good shot of getting in this year because of my waitlist status, I got a letter about three and a half weeks ago saying I do not have to Interview at UOP anymore because they already know me, and just have to wait for December 1th. I do however have to take one course that they asked me to take. so I guess my application was reviewed about three-four weeks ago so that I got the letter. I sent my application on May 21th.

I scheduled my interview for October 23. I was offered October 16, but have three exams on the 17th, so decided to take the latter date. Wish me luck!
