Hey guys, I'm currently a 2nd year, and am really worried about when to take my DAT. I can't take it this summer, because I have to take biochemistry and molecular bio over both summer sessions at my school. The option I was considering was to take the kaplan course (10/13/07 - 11/24/07) during my fall quarter, and then continue to study for and take the DAT at the end of my winter break (Jan 3rd). I plan to take 12 units that quarter: organic chem 51C ( the last class of the o-chem series), physiology and 4 units of research. Do you think that this is sufficient time to do well on the DAT, assuming I begin studying at the beginning of fall quarter ( ~ mid september), but also have to deal with studying for my other classes - physio and o-chem? My other option would be to take it next summer, but that would mean my application would probably be looked at later than others, thus hurting my chances of getting invites. When did you guys take your DAT's, and how were your schedules planned out? I would appreciate any honest feedback. Thanks a lot.
