I've gone through 35% of UWorld and my cumulative average hasn't really budged from day 1. This is my first run of UWorld (timed, random). How long did it take before your UWorld average starting improving? Like after doing more than 50%? Or, did it not increase much over time for you all?
Thanks!

I did timed, random; but didn't see any improvement in my scores. I was pretty consistent throughout, but as a caveat, I did the last 35% of UWorld in 1.5 days, so that might've contributed to not improving since I wasn't really learning the material at that point and was just trying to finish it. I think if you take the time to study your notes between each block, you should start seeing improvement soon, though I can't imagine it being a dramatic improvement since UWorld will always pull some minutia that you have never seen/ will make you want to pull your hair out.

Mine improved very slightly when I was about 65-70% done.
But going though uworld a second time now and its improved drastically.

I stayed at 65-68% throughout the whole thing. Had a couple of blocks where I completely crapped the bed (35-40%) Don't sweat it though, you're definitely learning a lot doing them. Some questions are just really hard. Sometimes I think the people who make Uworld questions know that the questions are so difficult that breaking even 75% cumulative is no easy task, and not many people can do it. That's why they stress to use it as a learning tool, and they're right. I've learned more from going through uworld and rx/fa in the last few weeks than I would have in months without them

I'd love to hear how you do on the real thin! How're you practice tests coming along? I'm curious only because I use UWorld during the school year and I'm usually between 60-70% per block, too.

That's really good especially if you're not even in dedicated time.

12 weeks out: uwsa1:192 (pathetic, but motivated me to work harder)
10 weeks out: nbme1:224 [offline]
9 weeks out: nbme2:227 [offline]

Is it? I do it by systems (like the system that we're doing in class) I figured that was artificially inflating the scores...
