Hi,
I have a question about the degree requirement.
I heard that some schools could cancel acceptance if a student doesn't get a degree before entrance to a dental school even if the student indicated on AADSAS application that she/he will get a degree before fall 2006.
1) So, does it mean that I need to finish my undergraduate study by April and attend the graduation ceremony in June? If I take a summer semester, I will be done with my final exams by the beginning or middle of August but will not be able to attend the graduation ceremony. Is the latter case okay?
I am not sure about the actual deadline for getting a degree.

2) I was gonna major in bio and minor in arts, so I wrote sociology as '2nd major for first degree.' But, on transcript receipt page, on academic status, it says 'Undergraduate/Post-BS/BA.' I will be getting only Bacherlor of Science. Why does it say BA as well? Do I need to contact AADSAS? Also, I changed my mind and will not minor in arts. I just want to graduate with science degree, major in bio. Will dental schools think that I lied and see this as a problem?

I really appreciate your comments. Thank you so much for your help.

I would contact your academic advisor and talk through things and then contact individual schools that you applied/interviewed at.
