When do we submit Columbia and NYU Apps?

I can't access the Columbia app yet because it says that the filing deadline has passed. When is the first day we can submit the Columbia one? The personal statement is the same length requirements as AMCAS right?

For NYU, do we use Embark also, or is it only a print application?

i think when i tried to get the application for columbia, it said the new 2003 application would be up and available on June 1st.

I'm not sure on NYU though
