how many mL of 3.0 M H2SO4 do you need to neutralize 30.0 mL of 4.0 M NaOH?

why do you have to use normality here? When do you know to use normality and molarity?

When you neutralize or titrate something use Normality … simply look out for the words “neutralize” and “titration”

Also look to see if your acid is polyprotic and compare that with the base it is being reacted with...your base may also accept more than one proton. If your acid can donate more than one proton, and your base can only accept one, you must use normality.
