I'm writing my autobiography. Do I just skip whatever I talked about in my AMCAS personal statement? Or should I just mention it in passing?

In general, I'm beginning to wonder how much schools look at AMCAS. They look at personal statements, but other than that - I don't think they pore over each one of the activities you listed and the length of time you've been pursuing them. If you're asked to list or describe them again in the secondary, it may be because they're not going to bother poring over your AMCAS list. Just a wild guess.

I think they also recognize that most applicants use the post-secondary section of AMCAS to describe their activity, not want the applicant actually learned from it. So the essays are worded so they gain insight into how the activity affected you. Just a thought.
