What do you mean by "documents for MSPE"? Do you mean the actual MSPE? Because that is usually sent by your school directly to ERAS or (in your case) to ECFMG. If you mean the documents your dean or other administrative person will need to write your MSPE (such as evals from electives and your CV), July 1 is a good time to get that stuff in their hands.

The actual MSPE is released to all programs on November 1, regardless of when it's actually available in ERAS.

My understanding is that it is an evaluation written by your Dean, documenting my progress over the years in medical school, as well as how I compare with my fellow classmates.

So according to you, once the Dean has wrote this, it must be realsed to ECFMG by Nov.1?

Yes, that's what the MSPE is. It's basically your Dean's description of your knowledge and abilities.

No. What I said was that ERAS releases all MSPEs on Nov. 1. Schools generally have them in to ERAS before that but they are all available for download on the same day.

With ECFMG standing in your way, you should have everything to the Dean by early September, give him/her 2-3 weeks to write it and send it, then give ECFMG 2-3 weeks to process and upload it.

it should come up as the first link - pdf document explaining everything about MSPE... You can give it to your school... That's what I did!

Also - I Googled some MSPE samples and showed them to my school...
