I am going to apply for the DATS in July.
When is the best time to take the DATS?
I am intersted in studying for as long as possible, so when is the latest I can take the test and still make applications by July?

If you send in your app in July, it takes adsaas about a month to a month and a half to process it so most likely the schools receive it in august. many schools don't really begin looking at apps until they have their incoming class situated in mid to late august. so its good to get everything in by september. This means you can take the DAT in August and it takes only two weeks to get the results sent to the schools. That is what I did and I received interviews in october, november and heard from some schools by Dec 1. This way you can spend much of the summer studying which is really nice.
