when's first mailing for aadsas?

This is a good question. I have had everything in for about 2 weeks now and still nothing mailed out yet. Has anyone else had anything to go out??

Hey, I was thinking about starting a thread with that same title. Mostly curious to see if anyone has had theirs mailed out. Not that it really makes a huge diff. at this point. 😎

two weeks? it takes like 6-8 weeks. and i am pretty sure they mail out a mailing pretty much every week, after the first one.

i had all my stuff into AADSAS and submitted my app on May 17. It has not been sent yet. I don' t think they will do the first mailing until July.

Similar situation here. Submitted app on May 23. Transcript verified June 2 or so, but nothing sent out yet.

I was searching last years forum threads for approximate mailing date for last year applicants and found this thread. It looks like they started sending them out on July 7th. So I guess we are getting close. Not that it will be the same but gives us a little idea of what's happening at AADSAS

i just called AADSAS, they say first batch will be mailed out this week. they dont know specifically which day. i submitted mine on may 17th, so mine better be in the first batch. make sure that all your supplemental stuff to the schools is sent out asap so that it doesnt delay the processing of your application

Long story short and sweet NO. If your app is in you are cool.

Could you explain why I'd like to hear the long story, please! I'm wondering this because AADSAS finished doing the gpa calculation in like 4 days after they recieved my transcripts (meaning they were fast this year). So when they send it out next week won't it just sit at the dental schools till JULY 28 which is when i take the test? While everyone else who took it earlier gets looked at!

Your schools will have to contact you with what supplemental material is required, right? If so, that means we won't know what is required until AADSAS sends out our apps, correct? By supplemental, I assume you and AADSAS mean secondaries, LORs, etc.

In your case, it probably won't sit around for very long. When AADSAS mails your application, it takes around 3 weeks to get to the school. When schools get your application, they have to send out supplemental info requests. So by the time you take the DAT on July 28, your application wouldn't have sat idle for long.
