I am scheduled to take the mcat june 16, but I don't know if I should just move it to the end of july.
I have until tomorrow to decide otherwise I can't change my date.
help?

Is 26 an average score or is that substantially lower than what you got on tests 1-3? I would say that you could be okay taking at the end of July, but just realize that you'll be decently late in the game which isn't ideal. If everything else in your app is on lock before that though you should be okay.

Some anecdotal advice (n=1): I took a practice test a week and half before my actual MCAT and got a similar score on it. I freaked out for a bit as that was way below my average. I realized I wasn't taking it at optimal conditions though so I took another practice a week before and was back up at my average score. I took the actual one and did alright. You should know that I took some like 13 or14 practice tests by the time it was all said and done during the three months I studied. I suggest the MCAT forum for my structured advice though.

This is the highest score I have had so far :/

If I change my date to July 29th, I should just do my whole application and send it before right? Not all of my letters of recommendation have been received yet.
Also I have done research for psychology. I have shadowed two doctors, and done some volunteering. My GPA is a 3.9 right now.

I, personally, would move back the test date. You can have everything else submitted but schools will not look at your application until the scores are received which means that they won't be looking at them until September at the earliest.

You're GPA seems to be in great shape though and assuming those brief ECs are substantial, you could definitely get a few looks if you take the next month and crush the MCAT like it's your job. Unfortunately it's all a crapshoot though so their are no guarantees.

You may receive more helpful advice in the What Are My Chances forum as well. I am not by any means an advisor.

As for submitting application,, submit as soon as all letters and transcripts are in. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL MCAT

+1. You can get everything ready and submitted w/o your MCAT score. If you don't feel confident that you'll do well on the MCAT I'd hold off until July. If you bomb it in June you'll have to retake it anyway.
