When is your interview at Boston?

They scheduled my Boston interview on Jan 20. However, I'm from California and there was a regional interview available in San Francisco on Dec. 16!!!! So obviously, I took the Dec. 16 regional interview.

My question is, does the adcom look at those who went for regional interviews less enthusiastic about their schools?

Also, my interview is so late! Does Boston interview lots of applicants before Dec. 1, or am I one of majority of candidates whos actually interviewing post Dec. 1?

I heard about my interview from Boston last October and they had scheduled me for late Jan. I called and had it bumped up to Dec. 3rd.

I would advise every one to call and get an earlier appointment, if possible.

Also, regarding regional interviews, I dont think it would make too much of a difference. If it were me, I would fly to Boston and interview at the school.

I would suggest calling the school. Twice now when I called to make sure the schools have everything they've informed me that I've been invited for an interview, and AADSAS had said nothing about them even recieving my application. So give it a shot

So they are not giving out any information directly to students.

If you were invited for an interview, it will say "Invited for Interview" under Status.

I got an invite for the same day. Have you looked at prices to fly up there? The cheapest ticket I could find was $450 because it's right after the Thanksgiving. I called to see if I could change it because a week later they are like $125, but they said they were booked until Feb. The lady on the phone was really rude.

I interviewed their Oct 14th (they told us we were the first group to interview for next years class), It was a really great experience. It was very informal and informative, and overall just a great day. Dr. Shaw is a wonderful woman, and I feel lucky that I had the opportunity to speak with her.
