Could someone shed some light on reapplication experiences with diff schools?
I heard california schools like USC / UCLA do not call re-applicants who were called for IVs..is that true?
If we had applied to a school last year and not got a call, what shuld we change in our application? What kind of changes do admission committees give weightage to??

anyone who has had first hand experience.. or knows from someone else's experience...pls help out.

Thanks.

Hi,
I know a senior of mine whom i met at UCSF.
She was a re-applicant and she didnt get iv calls first time around but she got calls from both pacific and UCSF. Dont lose hope
u should improve your work experience column which i know u're doing
In CV elaborate on number of cases in each area u've done.
Modify personal statement as well.
Please get recommendation letters from US dentist
Finally dont loseyour optimism and your smile 😀
Sab theek ho jayega yaar

Hi Bombaybds, I've been following your posts for a long time now, you always encourage others. Although I neither have a first hand experience nor do I know from someone else's experience but I feel Dentistree711 presented such case very well and you may follow her tips (well, yes, I know you already have few amazing things to mention on resume this time!). I agree, don't lose your optimism since that's your best quality. Best!

I sent u a PM...

that's all i have to say, i have seen enuf re applicants getting calls and admission into the schools, its just that year maybe the pool of applicant was more qualified and probably they did better at interview or technical exam. I would say you have a better chance this year as you have worked hard on your application for one year, strengthen the area you were lacking and reapplying shows that you are committed to get into the school.
