Do you send with your name and ask question politely or without your name?

What's the best way to ask about pre-reqs and other things?

Thanks!

I would personally call because this eliminates the chance of grammatical errors. Not to mention it is easier than having to sit down and write a lengthy email.

Hello,
My name is _____ and i'm a prospective Pharm D student for your school. I was looking for some information about your program...etc

Thanks,
________(name)

use spell check or ms word if you're so worried about grammar.

It's really up to you, but I would include your name so they might have your name stuck in their heads multiple times before they actually interview you 🙂 Every little bit helps.

Definately use your name

Always use your full name. That way when they review your application, they know who you are and how interested you are in their program.

Definitely sign off on your e-mail with your name. In my opinion, it would be rude and unprofessional for someone to not spot their name at the end of an e-mail. If you're lucky, they might remember your name. There's nothing bad about putting your name in an e-mail unless you're outright disrespectful in your e-mail.

With your name. 🙂

If you are not applying this year email is a good option so the person responding can reply at his or her own pace. The phone lines might be busy this time of year with anxious applicants curious as to their application status (myself included).

No, you ask very rudely and make sure to remain anonymous.

Seriously, do you have no common sense? You want to be a pharmacist yet you have to ask for help with something as simple as an email? 🙄

..

.... and there it is. It never fails that someone has this type of response.

"You want to be a pharmacist but you can't even chew with your mouth closed.. pshhaaaw!"

You and your ilk make me, and I'm sure others, think less of this site with your "Obviously mine does NOT stink!" attitudes.

You want to be a pharmacist yet you cannot even answer a simple (even if silly) question without letting your inner child show through? 🙄

I totally agree, if you don't have anything constructive to say, then don't say anything at all. No one is forcing you to respond! Everyone is entitled to their opinion but do you have to force it on everyone! 🙄
