Ok, I know this is pessimistic, but I really hold out no hope of getting in this year. :(

What I want to know is, when will my Baylor rejection come in the mail, so I can call them and find out how to improve my app for next year? I tried emailing Melody (I didn't ask like that, of course) and she didn't give me a timeframe at all - just said she knows it's a "difficult time" for us.

Have other people gotten rejections after Baylor interviews? Did my letter just get lost?

I'm so frustrated with this whole process!

Generally, Baylor does not reject people post-interview. I heard of one person that that happened to last year, but that still contradicted what they told us during the interview weekend. They may have started changing their policy, but odds are you will probably receive a waitlist letter sometime in April. Until class starts in August, I would just continue to try and demonstrate your interest in attending Baylor. Good luck.

This is so depressing. Don't they realize that other schools are waiting on us too? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

I dunno if their waitlist is ranked or not, but if it is, then it's not that hard to reject the bottom third or so, is it?. Why leave people hanging till August? That's just cruel. People need to be able to move and make living arrangements and what not, and not everyone can do that in a week's time. Just bad policy IMHO. I'd much rather be rejected in May than in August!
