Sorry if this sounds super ignorant but I want to double check so everything will fall into place when the time comes. I'm wondering when I should take the DAT given my particular schedule "to keep certain subjects as fresh in my head as possible". I want to keep this schedule set in stone but I'm still open to suggestions. Otherwise, when should i really start studying for the DAT, take the DAT, and start on application and apply?

I just got my bachelor's and now finishing my science courses. I isolated them. My schedule for the next 1-2 years looks something like this:

Fall 15: german, physics 1
Winter 16: physics 2, Gchem 1 (JUST FINISHED)
Spring 16: physics 3, Gchem 2
Summer 16: Gchem3 + extra curricular
Fall 16: ochem 1, bio 1
Winter 17: ochem 2, bio 2
Spring 17: ochem 3, bio 3
Summer 17: any classes I could take to boost my app

I've been hearing multiple things

thanks

Allocate 1-2 months to study for the DAT a week or two after your spring semester ends (to give yourself some downtime). Apply and submit your application, ideally, within the first week or two of June but try to submit it before August to still be considered "early". Also, you do not need to have your DAT done before submitting your application if you were wondering.

Yeah, exactly. Not much to it. Just make sure you get your book on time.

Are we talking about this year or next year? Because I read somewhere that i can apply this year but also suggest next year since i would have ochem, gen chem and bio done.

Next year, your schedule has a typo and you listed 2016 six times.
