..how do the speed of sound change?? Im reading it doesnt change!
 
The speed of sound can change if it is reflected off a moving object. This is like a corollary of the doppler effect I guess.

coulda sworn i had a question which said it doesnt change...(but what you said makes sense)
 
i don't think it changes, since it doesn't change media (similar to reflected light still traveling at 3x10^8 m/s after being reflected)
