Hey everybody...

Well, i just checked out my grades, and i got a C in physics I. It's hard to believe.... i'm sad and all those things that i'm sure others before me have felt. I'm looking for advice, encouragement..

My GPA's now like a 3.5...my science one is about 3.4ish...taking mcat in april... I feel bad cuz it's my junior year... mistakes are less forgiveable now... And this was the one professor i was gonne try to get a LOR from....ugghh

Hey, don't fret. I have a 3.4 overall and got a good amount of interviews so far.

Got B- and C's in freshman bio (didn't do much work then), a C+ in quantum chem. Even have a W on my transcript (non premed course)

Kick ass on the MCAT, spend your time doing things you love and it'll all work out. Happy holidays.

Thanks missbonnie...good luck w/ all those interviews..

It's funny cuz last semester, thru out orgo II i kept thinking that if i got a C i'd have to do pharmacy or something (i was really hitting rock bottom then). That was before a lot of introspection and learning that i REALLY want to do medicine. And i didn't even get a C then. Now...this unexpected grade...hasn't really shaken my resolve... (i think i've grown in that sense) but i'm just a little more doubtful now.

And.......I mean...who cares about physics anyway ..right?? In the bigger scheme of things....it's the bio and chem...etc that really matter....

That happened to me to but don't let that deter. Just make sure that it will be you one and only C on your transcript. No worries for the holidays, recharge your batteries and work even harder next semester and shoot for straight A's. Good luck!
