hi guys,
im new to this forum.. can u plz guide me when to apply for part1.. if i wana take the exam in june 2008.. plzz guide me..

Hi,

Your application is valid for 1 year. It means once your application is approved by ADA you can take exam within 1year. For June 2008 it is good if you apply in February 2008. It gives you sufficient time to schedule.

thanks a lot molar19... just a little more stupid confusion.. does that mean after applying i should get my credentials approved by ECE?? and plzz suggest me best materials for part1 and where can i buy them??

Hi

1. You have to get ECE evaluation done before applying to ADA as your application is processed only when they have your evaluation report. When you fill ECE application they ask where to send the 2nd free report. There you have to enter NBDE /ADA address.

2. For NBDE Part1- you need Kaplan review book, dental decks, released question papers and NBDE First aid or USMLE First aid to highlight imp points.. These are basic materials anything additional you get is useful.

3. You can purchase them from SDN Classified section, Amazon.com or ebay.
