I'm a community college transfer to ucb, I'm starting my junior year in fall 2009 and I'm going to stay until fall 2011. Because I will go 1 semester over, when should I apply?

My bio/ochem series will be complete after fall 2010, should I take my DAT the summer after spring 2011?

Yeah, if you're wanting the rest of that year off, and then start the fall of 2012, You'd apply the June of 2011, that would be the same time you'd take the DAT.

That's probably fine, I know my Kaplan teacher graduated and then worked at Kaplan at her year off and is starting school in the fall.

i am writing the DAT at the end of july.
should i submit AADSAS app. now or shoud i wait and see how i do on the DAT.
i am planning on applying to 15 schools... $1116. lots of money.

I'd go ahead and apply now. Depending on how you do on the DAT, you can always add schools later.

does reapplying to dental school work in your favor or against you in terms of acceptance? Would admissions see it as perserverance?

I think if you've improved yourself in any way, or done something meaningful, and then talk about it in a meaningful way in your PS, then yes, it does give you a plus that you didn't have the year before. It's definitely not a negative unless you just sat around all year.
