Boston recieved my application and payment early october. They still havnt rejected or sent me an invite. does anyone know when i should expect something.
Its a little frustrating not knowing when I am going to hear back!

Not knowing what your stats are, it's hard to say. I submitted in May and received an invitation (for January) a month ago, but my stats aren't stellar.

i've heard boston and nyu are famous for not inviting a lot of qualified applicants. people often use these two schools as a backup, and both schools tend to overlook applicants who seem like they would easily get into another university.

anyway, thats just what people say. i think boston is very slow in processing applications😛

so hows everyone feeling about december 1st? i dont have a single interview!👎
gluck to all!

do schools also send rejections on Dec. 1st or just acceptances?

The day is also known for mass rejections. So even though many students are accepted that day, many more unfortunately rejected as well.

boston really ticked me off last year. i didn't hear anything from them all year, and by april i had obviously assumed that i was rejected. you know when they sent me my rejection letter? freaking middle of july!! seriously, they knew they didn't want me, so why didn't they just send the stinking letter? grrr ...

does boston send something after everythign is in or wen u send in ur electronic payment you assumed that its all done?

they sent me telling me they recieved my online application and asking me for payment, I then payed and called some time later to check my file was complete and they said yes.

So yea it seems like those guys are just slow, I mean what is the point of keeping you waiting till the next application cycle has already begun if you are not even close to getting an interview!!! oh and they charge more for processing fees than other schools (Im canadian too so I had to pay even more) that should logically mean that they process things faster,, but noooo.
