Please excuse me if this is a classic neurotic pre med question.
I was complete at most of my top schools very late in August (with some stretching to early-mid September based on how slow they were at marking me complete... and at one school not complete till 3 days ago in spite of submitting in August!!!... but I digress) and Ive only heard back from 4 thus far. (3 II and 1 rejection).
So for schools like Harvard, NYU, Columbia, or even Temple, Drexel, Jefferson, and NYMC, is this >1 month silent period a reason to lose hope at these schools, or is it more likely that they haven't reviewed my application yet?
I know that stats aren't everything, but given my stats (3.8 and a 37) I would be pretty surprised to not get interviews from the latter group of schools...
What do you guys think?
