Hello Everyone,

I was wondering when in the application process is a good time to start emailing PDs or PCs of programs you're interested in interviewing at.
What shall I include in the email?
Is it better to call or email?

I was also wondering the etiquette for contacting programs where we are interested in interviewing.

I was told by my advisor 1-2wk before the program's first interview (or later, as the case may be) falls w/in etiquette.
