When to send in Spring Grades? (Applied as a senior)????

Hi all!

I'm applying as a senior and sent in my application before spring semester grades were out. When should I send the schools the grades from my last semester and how should I go about doing that?

Do I send a transcript to each school individually? Or do I send one to AMCAS, which will then update the schools accordingly?

Also, I have yet to be verified; should I wait till then?

If you haven't been verified yet AND you listed the courses as current.. rush send your transcript and they will add the grades for you. (source: I just did this myself)

Otherwise, it varies by school. Contract each to see if they will even be receptive to such an update and whether you need an official transcript or not.a

Contact each school about sending an updated transcript, after they have your app. Or do what the above poster did.

DO NOT wait until you are verified. Send you transcript BEFORE you are verified. If you submitted in late June, it won't get there in time but if you submitted AMCAS after July 1, you should be able to get in your new transcript if you rush order/overnight it.
