I'll be completely finished with all my pre-reqs by Fall 2009 (if everything goes on track!) and I'm hoping to enter in the Spring of 2010. When should I start applying to the school, taking my PCAT (I'm taking O Chem I in Spring 2009, O Chem II in Fall 2010), getting LORs, and writing my personal statement? The school I'm hoping to attend doesn't use PharmCAS.
The school website says: "Applications for admission to the professional program for the Spring semester should be submitted by the previous October 1st." Does this mean October 1, 2009?
Most people here are applying for the fall, so all the times seem to be a little bit off from mine. It just doesn't seem correct that I should start getting ready to apply this coming spring! It also doesn't seem correct that I'd be applying 3 months before class starts (I thought most people waited a year for results?).
I also need help with transcripts. Will my new school post the grades from my old school on their transcript? If so, does that mean that I won't have to obtain both transcripts when it comes time to send them in?
Sorry for all the questions, I just seem to be confusing myself the more I think about it!
