I'll be starting M1 soon, and some people have recommended that I start looking at FA periodically throughout the year. However, the only available version is the 2013 First Aid, and 2014 comes out around Christmas? Should I just wait to pick that one up, or can I go with the 2013, and start looking at it now?

If you've got a surplus of $, grab one. Otherwise, wait. People are always selling their FA dirt cheap after their step or just giving them away. If your school has a FB marketplace, ask away. Ask your seniors.

Get the old one for cheap and get the new one where it comes out. This isnt the place to save 20 bucks.

Just echoing what was said. Get a cheap copy and look through it occasionally especially before tests to see if you can pick up a few high yield facts. However, remember it is a review book and must be treated as such.
