When to start looking for jobs after fellowship?

For those of you who have completed OB/GYN fellowships, when in your fellowship did you start looking for jobs? If you are in REI or MFM, that would be super helpful? Not sure how this whole process starts. I have an idea of where I want to go, but not sure how I go about initiating the job search. It'd be nice to have a job by the middle of 3rd year. Thoughts?
