Sorry to make a new thread, but my situation is a bit different from the other threads I've come across. I go to a school on the quarter system, so our finals won't conclude until June 13th, and transcripts are not available for another 3-4 weeks after that. I know usually it is not worth it to wait, but rather to send in transcripts right away. However, my GPA is sub-par (3.02 overall, 2.8ish BCP) and this new quarter of grades would really boost my GPA (3.09 overall and 2.9ish BCP) and establish a recent upward trend.
So my question is...
1. Should I decide to wait on these new grades?
2. If I do wait, would submitting my application within the next couple weeks put me in some sort of queue that would allow my transcripts to be verified faster when they do make their way to AADSAS?

Hope that makes sense and thanks in advance for any advice you can give!

I forgot to add that I've tried to explain the situation to the AADSAS phone service and they are completely useless. So where better to turn than SDN?

Submit your app asap regardless of what you do with your transcripts. If you think your GPA is going to go up, wait til grades are posted to send your transcripts, otherwise just send them now and wait until the Academic Update period to update your grades and classes in AADSAS (Nov or Dec).

Thanks lemoncurry, that is good advice. I understand the earliest you can do Academic updates is in November, but wouldn't most schools have made their decisions on your application by then (assuming I get everything in relatively early)? Also, if I wait til mid July to send in my transcripts, would I be late and not able to get in the first round of interviews (if I'm lucky enough to get one)?

Most interviews don't start until September at the earliest, as far as I know. Some might be in August, but it's really not the kiss of death if you don't get interviewed in the first round, nor is it a guaranteed spot if you do interview in the first round.

Acceptances can't happen until Dec. 1, and that is just the first round. I wasn't accepted until February. The point is not to freak out. If you're a worthy candidate, chances are you will get an interview somewhere, unless you're just really late. I'm sure lots of students wait to submit their transcripts until after grades are posted.

Another option is to send your transcript now, and when your grades post, send updated transcripts directly to your schools. Not everything has to be done through AADSAS.
