Just curious how long ago it was that the 16th edition of Big Blue came out. If anyone knows I would appreciate a response. I don't want to waste ~$600 if a newer version is coming out fairly soon. Thanks.

Changes between "editions" are incremental and generally not worth waiting for. I compared the one I bought a couple years ago to one that was from 2003 (IIRC) and found virtually no differences.

I also seem to recall someone here saying that Jensen is deliberately putting less and less effort into updating Big Blue and more effort into his review courses, because he's bitterly angry about hand-me-down "theft" of Big Blue.

Bottom line, if you're going to buy Big Blue, I wouldn't delay simply in the hopes of getting a more current "edition" in a few months.

The version I bought in 2005 seems to have been printed by a mimeograph
