When will I get interview invites???

I am submitting my secondaries now, but I am still waiting on a letter of recommendation that will probably be submitted next week (mid-October).

How long after that can I expect to start hearing about interviews?
Does it help if you have competitive scores, or do schools just review applications in the order they are received?
Will the time-line be faster or slower due to the fact that I am applying late?

Please don't tell me I'm stupid for applying so late. I know that and I am already freaking out enough.

you can probably check the particular school's forum to see the interview invite timeline 🙂

i think if the schools that you applied is doing rolling admissions then having competitive scores won't help if applicaitons are sent late. on the contrary if the schools don't do rolling admissions, i think an applicant has equal chance as another applicant who has applied earlier.

i don't know about the timeline in regards to hearing a reply back from the schools but the best thing is to check with the particular school by calling the admin office 👍
