I'm a returning student so I have a fat manila folder full of old transcripts. On one transcript I have REALLY BAD grades, I think it was a D and an F. I was a different person at that point in my life and was following the wrong path. I didn't withdraw on time thinking I could make it, and well...I received those nasty grades for a real estate and an accounting class.
I only went to that college for one semester, do I need to send these? and how much will it affect me? All I want to do is become a Pharmacist: I'm a certified tech (worked in a hospital for a summer), I've had As and Bs in all my my science and math classes since I went back to school.
Does it help considerably the fact that I'm a Certified Pharmacy Tech?

As long as the D & F weren't pre-Pharm classes, I think you'll be okay. Especially when they see you've improved since then. They may even ask you about it during the interview. You'll still have to send in the transcript, it could jeopardize your chances for admission if they found out.

Definitely don't try to hide them - it's not as big a deal as you think. Considering they were non-science classes, and especially if you've shown a strong improvement in your prereq coursework. Nail a strong PCAT score, interview well, and worry less. I say this as a person with two F-bombs on his transcript, only one of which could be replaced. (both history classes; the ironic part is that I love history...)
