My majors include:

Bachelor of Arts in Journalism

Bachelor of Arts in Biology

University Honors Co-Major

All of that plus my pre-med classes. Talk about that "well rounded education" everyone wants 😛

So who has a non-science major and/or a double major?

BA: Econ
Minors: Chem and Bio

H.S: Majored in Media Communications
College: B.A in 2yrs Communications/Journalism Track

I don't even consider myself a comm major because of all the science I am taking/will be taking 👎 Eeeeek. Don't get me wrong I love bio but the labs are meant to lower your gpa for no obvious reason and physics 1/2 is a waste of time. I'd rather take anatomy (have it instead of physics/part of pre-reqs) and have a pass/fail system in med school where if you passed the class in college you can skip it, if not you'd have to take it in med school. I know there are flaws w/ this type of system (consistency/rigor/similarity) but at least you'd know what your getting into.

Music and German.

I added the German major b/c I decided I want to live in Germany next year. Unfortunately, I won't be able to finish my pre-reqs, so I'll need another year of classes before I can apply to med schools.

Majors in Anthropology and Neurobiology. 3 classes away from a major in Philosophy. Pre-med is basically included in Neurobiology.

Ballet and Biochemistry

Wow that is amazing! I really respect people who are that well rounded 😳

I am "well lopsided":

Majors: Biomedical Engineering and Physics
Minors: Chemistry and Mathematics

Mathematical sciences all the way!

Half a year away from college, and I want to major in History, possibly double major with Communication

Bachelor of Sciences in Foreign Service (BSFS)

Major: International Economics

I have a BFA in theatre and a psych minor. I plan on going back for a BA in either biology or psychobiology while I complete the pre-med requirements at my alma mater.

Political science and psychology.......can you guess what my original career goal was😉

Mathematics and Psychology

[was also close to a dance minor, but I couldn't be bothered with dance classes where you don't dance (you know, those theory classes) ]

number one lesson learned: I am not superwoman!!!

Wait, you got to pick a major in H.S.?

I'm an Anthropology major...it's a B.S. degree though, but that's only because I tack on the pre-med requirements.

I was a Psych undergrad first, then didn't want to go into psych but was going to grad early so finished a business degree by my senior year. I was sooooo good at marketing but it made me sick trying to get people to buy things they didn't need ( my skin crawls each time I see an advertisement). Then 2 years of biomed-research and part-time postbac. Now a grad student in physiology and future doctor. :hardy:

B.A.: Spanish
Minor: Bio

Wanted to major in theater, but it would have added an extra year.

b.s. in biology & b.a. in near eastern languages & civilizations!

I was an anthropology major with a certificate (what they call a minor @ my school) in african american studies. I also focused a lot on religion and took enough religion courses to have majored in that. I had planned to major in science (astrophysics) when i got to school, but i had bad advising and didn't really like the department.

BS Political Science with a minor in Educational Theory

MSW (Masters of Social Work)

BS- Health Policy and Management
Minor- 1) Theology 2) The Development of Western Civilization

I was a double major. Natural Sciences and Spanish. 🙂

I got a BA in Anthropology and a BS in Geology with a Math minor. Also spent time in undergrad as a music major and a geophysical engineering major. Switched around a lot. My master's degree will be in Natural Resources with Hydology as a specialization. I will start med school in the Spring.

BA: Philosophy
Minors: Italian, Chem and Piano

I'm really appreciative of dance majors. 🙂 Italian and Piano was planned. Chem just happened because all the classes that I'm taking as a pre-req and some extra science courses fulfill the chem minor reqs. Yay for "well-rounded" people. Do you think that med schools will care that I also figure skate and ride horses during my spare time?

I majored in Piano and Jazz band in high school (another one of those new, choose-a-major high schools for the performing arts)...

Now I'm a Biology/Pre-professional major, I'm considering adding a minor in Russian because I'm young and I absolutely love the language..

Yay! I'm not the only idiot that was suckered into getting multiple degrees!

B.S. Mathematics
B.A. Economics
Working on my M.S. in Neuroscience - I figure if I get enough letters after my name, they won't have time to get to my GPA on my applications.

BA in History. One two credit hour lab shy of a Chem minor but I couldn't bring myself to take it.

Just wondering... aren't most of those covered in your bio major? Gen. Chem, O. Chem, Physics, Calc and of course biology were all part of our bio major.

BA in Theatre (Performance). Career in Film Editing. Post-bacc in pre-med. Med School, Class of 2012!! Just haven't decided which school yet!

straight up BA Econ all the way! all my econ friends go into i-banking except for me.

I have a double BA in Oral Communications and Communication Disorders, with a minor in Theatre, and two years of premed reqs.
