I have an overall 3.32, and science 2.98, plus my DAT scores kinda suck too . . .

3.46 overall, 3.38 science here. Guys, dont' let clickytop discourage you with dental hygiene jokes. Adcoms know that GPAs are relative to where you went to school and what you studied. If you show good DAT scores and/or have other experiences to offer, you are still competitive. I have 2 interviews scheduled already too. On the first day of dental school you'll be on the same level as the likes of clickytop.
 
For those of you people with low GPA's... around 3.2, what are your getting on your DAT for you to get interviews? Also, are you guys just going to go to any dental school you guys get accepted too, even though it's a place you don't want to spend four years of your life?
 
Well, I was actually just wondering this myself the other day. If one doesnt like the dental school theyre at (like, say they got accepted to only one school out of the bunch they applied to and really wanna go to D school), can they transfer to another school like you can at an undergraduate university? Forgive me if this is just common knowledge.

It is possible to transfer. Just not all schools allow it and I think it's pretty difficult. UMaryland is one that allows it: http://www.dental.umaryland.edu/admissions/dds/advstand.html

I didn't apply to anywhere I wouldn't want to spend four years at.
