I may have totally misinterpreted things, but it just seems like most SDNers are either from the east coast or California.

I'm just wondering--where do you reside?

It's a good thing in the back of my mind- I just hope I get in to one of them. Are you an Arkansas resident now (going off what I read here)? If so, I think some southern states reserve a set number of spots since y'all don't have a dental school there...Correct me if I'm wrong- I'm I the early stages of this dental trek!

yea that's true. Tennessee, LSU, Louisville, UMKC have many spots for Arkansas students. Baylor also has maybe 4 spots for Arkansas students. All are instate tuition too. So hopefully, I can get into Baylor. haha.
