I plan on taking the MCAT in August and applying to med school right after I recieve my results (if they're acceptable). Summer break is coming up and I want to ask my professors for recommendations, however I do not know where to ask my professors to send them. Does anyone know how to go about doing this?

Try doing a search before posting new threads.

You send them to AMCAS. Alternatively, you can set up an interfolio account and have your writers send them there, and then forward them from there to AMCAS.

I would recommend using an Interfolio account. The majority of med schools do use the AMCAS LOR system, but not all. If you plan to apply to any of the schools that don't, then Interfolio is the way to go. Also, if you end up not having a successful cycle and need to reapply, you'd have all your letters stored and wouldn't need to ask your letter writers to resubmit anything (AMCAS does not keep letters from one year to the next).
