where are your letters coming from?

I may have messed up and gotten 5 letters of recommendation, and I'm trying to decide who to cut. who are you getting your letters from?

i've got 2 bio profs, a pharm prof, and a chem prof. plus 1 dentist.

realistically, the weakest letter would probably come from the chem prof. should i cut him?

I would cut the chem prof then unless one of the schools you are applying to requires a chem prof lor obviously lol. If it is going to be the weakest then yes get rid of the weakest link. They can still write it but you will just not need it....or you can tell them you don't need it anymore but thanks anyways.

Cut the weakest one. I had a professor lined up and didn't need a letter. Just send them an email, or talk to them and say you really appreciate it, but it turns out you don't need as many letters as you thought.

I got my letters from 3 science professors and a dentist. Molecular genetics, physiology, o chem.

I would get another upper level rather than two general bio profs.

If you're getting a committee letter then you shouldn't have any problem.

It just seems like variety is nice, and also I would think they would rather a professor who has seen you take a tougher class than general biology.

The weakest letter is probably the one from the dentist. Idk though...I'm sending in all 4.

I got my A&P Professor, Chem professor, physics professor and my dentist.

I've heard of some schools that want a non-science professor but I do not have anyone non science since I've only taken science courses during my post-bacc. How do I remedy this?
