I do not mean to sound obnoxious with this comment. But online education is already viewed by most people as being of questionable quality, although I am sure there are some quality programs. At best, though, quality is inconsistent... you might have some good programs, and there are also plenty of crappy programs out to take people's money and give them false hopes. (Look at any news report lately.) Soooooo.... I don't think it would help the cause to have instructors with only undergraduate degrees teaching in the online programs. And the MBA is not a teaching degree. You might look into becoming involved with employee training, and the like, if you find that you enjoy teaching, and you have a business bent. But otherwise, unfortunately, neither degree really qualifies you to teach. Do you have much business experience? Someone teaching business classes should have both teaching experience and practical experience (and often, a PhD.) I also wonder why you wouldn't be a TA in your PhD program? Is it online too? What subject are you studying? And why the focus on wanting to teach online, rather than looking for in-person volunteer opportunities?
