Where did you apply for 2009-2010?

So...

Where did everyone apply for the fall? How many programs did you apply to? Which one is your top choice?

Deadlines are either past, or looming uncomfortably close for most programs...

I'll admit it. I got more than a little freaked out by the process and lost it. I changed from wanting a PhD to wanting a PsyD after my letters had been written and everything. I wound up only applying to two programs. Thankfully I'm well above average for both programs. However, I've resigned myself to the fact that I may have to take a year off.

I applied to Chestnut Hill College and Loyola College. Just the two, and I can't decide which one I'd rather go to. LC has a much better APA placement rate, but CHC says theirs is just low because people don't want to move, and I don't mind that.

I'm interested in child/adolescent mental health and CUNY has Arietta Slade and Steve Tuber, who both do good work in that area. Definitely maybe a little out of place with the others, but I have professors who went there and were able to get good research experience.

I'm rooting for BU myself.

Yes, I'm glad I was rejected and took the master's route instead. I'm doing & want to continue my work on goal pursuit (in a broad sense), so I can imagine that we would not have too much overlap in programs.
