??? HMO's? Word of mouth? Etc.... Rank them in order....

If you accept dental hmo, they will overwhelm your schedule and you will have more patients than you ever wish for (which isn't good!). I'm lucky to not need to accept most insurance so most of my patients are word-of-mouth (70%). Having a good street facing location with frequent traffic congestion bring a bunch of random walk-ins (20%). I don't advertise so I have no idea where the other (10%) comes from.
