Im trying to figure out after I graduate from a medical school in the UK (tho I am a Canadian citizen, not an EU citizen) Should I head straight for US and do the USMLE? or should I go back to Canada and work it there. I heard US is easier in terms of starting your residency as an IMG, especially if you are coming from UK. Canada just seems to harsh and way more strict in terms of accepting IMGs, or should I try to get a residency spot in the country of the medical school I got in to?
Im just lost because im worried if I take a long journey but regret it when I come back as an IMG, where do I go if Canada doesn't want me 🙁 ?
