Where do I put study abroad in AMCAS?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
That's what I did, but I feel that it so much more important than "other". I wish there were a title listed for it. 😳

Hi,
I listed it under post secondary experiences, since I shadowed a doctor while I was there and did other things as well. I also listed in the coursework section since I took classes.

I also listed it under course work, since I took classes while there.

I actually listed it under INSTITUTIONS as another school that I attended.
(even though the program was through my school but affiliated and located at Oxford in England.) This was what my pre-med advisor told me to do. It's not a big deal, because there's a way to show that the grades will be listed on your school's transcript.

I think that it DOES make a little difference in getting noticed

good luck!

I fished out my AMCAS..

I put it under "Post-Secondary Institution/ Program Name"

*****(Abroad) University, (Home School) Campus/ Main Program*********

degree: no degree expected

--------------------------
prgram level: undergrad

city/state of your home undergrad
