Have everything in my primary ready to submit, and I'm just hesitant on which medical schools to select.

I have a 3.77 cumulative and 3.81 science GPA, 30MCAT, with plenty of volunteering, my own honors research thesis project, and some other ECs. I'm a Washington resident.

I'm definitely applying to UW, but I'm wondering where I stand for other out-of-state schools (namely California schools: Irvine, Riverside, maybe the one in LA). I'm hesitant because it doesn't look like they accept too many out of state, unless you're extraordinary (which I don't think I am). Just wondering what some other opinions are. Should I shoot for it anyway? Also other schools that may be on their lower range of acceptances

Just submit to one school for now, that you're sure you want to apply to. This will get the verification process started. You can work on your school list and add more schools by June 27th, when the initial AMCAS data transfer to med schools will occur.

Also, school list feedback belongs in the What are my chances forum.

Pubic schools usually prefer in state applicants. If you're applying out of state, I'd recommend applying to private schools.

Those are definitely solid stats.

Great, I wasn't sure how long we had to are schools. That's actually a ton of help, thank you.
